Today two long-time friends of the show: Victoria-based social activist, Kevin Neish, again returned from Colombia bearing witness to the trial of union activist, Liliany Obando, imprisoned now nearly two years while waiting for her case to be heard. Kevin Neish in the first half.

And; Bethlehem-based freelance journalist and photojournalist, Jon Elmer reporting from the West Bank while the world watches sport, broadcast from his home-base in Vancouver, Canada. Jon Elmer has lived in and reported from occupied Palestine many times; his experiences there published at al Jazeera, and news websites across the internet.
