And; Ezili Danto is a Haitian-American playwright, performance poet, and author. She's also a social and political activist and commentator, and human rights attorney. She is the founder and president of the Haitian Lawyers Leadership Network and serves as managing editor of the on-line journal, Haitian Perspectives. She also publishes the Ezili Danto Newsletter.
