In response to the targeted killings at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub late Saturday, June 11th, Victoria City held a solidarity gathering, featuring the half-staffing of the pride flag, recently raised to mark the city’s Pride Month commemorations.
I went down to join the roughly two hundred Victorians at the lunchtime gathering, and listened to Mayor Lisa Helps address the crowd.
